St. Maries River Railroad’s turn to Plummer, with eleven loads from the mills at St. Maries, trundles across over Pedee Creek trestle at Pedee, Idaho, on September 30, 2016. During this time, only GP9 103 was serviceable for round trips to the Union Pacific interchange at Plummer, with Nos. 101 and 102 down for shop time. Occasionally, the railroad uses its SW1200s for this train as well. This railroad was once part of Milwaukee Road’s main line to the Pacific Northwest.
