| The Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn (MGBahn) ordered 12 new "ORION" (Optimaler Regionalzug Im Oeffentlichen Nahverkehr) cogwheel trains from StadlerRail, the first are in timetabled service now. ABeh 8/12 # 307 and # 304 in multiple control are crossing the 106 meter long and 49 meter high Grengiols viaduct with the regional train R 533 of the line R43 from Andermatt via Oberwlad-Brig to Visp. The viaduct is in a cogwheel section with a grade of about 10 %. |
