| There is one train pair only via the Gotthard line of the RAlpin "rolling highway", all other trains run via L?tschberg-Simplon. Bombardier TRAXX F140 MS Re 486 # 509 of the BLS Cargo pulls the northbound "rolling highway" train 43080 from Novara Boschetto/Italy via Luino-Gotthard Base Tunnel-Basel to Freiburg im Breisgau/Germany, on the B?zberg north ramp at Zeihen between Effingen and Hornussen. In the couchette car behind the locomotive the drivers of the loaded trucks travel and could rest. The trucks, both tractor and semi-trailer, are loaded on special low-loader wagons with very small wheels. |
