| A westbound loaded sand train behind a Union Pacific SD70ACe departs Glenwood Yard on the Elbow Lake Subdivision. The ties in the foreground are remnants of an interchange track that once connected the Soo Line with a Northern Pacific branch line that ran between Little Falls and Morris, MN. The SOO is now CPKC and the NP branch is long gone, abandoned in 1983, with several segments eventually being turned into a bike trail. |
