| View into the cab of cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 3/4 # 9 of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) before the run down from Furka DFB to Realp with train 1146. The locomotive was built in 1914 by SLM for the Brigue-Furka-Disentis Railway (BFD), ran then for the Furka-Oberalp-Bahn (FO) and was sold to Vietnam in 1947 after the eletrification of the FO. Brought back to Switzerland in 1990 more or less as scrap. |
