Remarks & Notes

Among the power sitting at Fort Worth & Western's Hodge Yard are several former FWWR diesels, now in National Railway Equipment's lease fleet. NREX SD40-2 2018 is the former FWWR 2018 "Tarantula," ex-Union Pacific 3252, ex-UP "Fast Forty" 8012, née-UP 3252, built in June 1974. On the adjacent track is another former UP diesel, FWWR SD60M 2038 "Mustang." (Fort Worth, Texas – August 28, 2023)
