Burlington Northern GP20 2047 was built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 911 in February 1961. When the CB&Q merged with Great Northern, Northern Pacific and Spokane Portland & Seattle in 1970 to create the BN, this Geep was renumbered BN 2047. BN 2047 was wrecked in Lincoln NE on September 20, 1986, and subsequently scrapped. (McCook, Nebraska – August 19, 1980)
