With its station stop in Windsor, Connecticut completed, Amtrak 475 is back on the move south as the engineer throttles up P42DC 89. Behind the train is the Victorian styled station that was originally built in 1870 by the Hartford & New Haven Railroad, while the building on the right once served as the freight house.
With double tracking, CT Rail, a new regional service, and restoration of Springfield Union Station, the Connecticut Valley line has become once more an exciting place for train watching.
