In 1976 SP borrowed some BN Locotrol Masters and slave cars in an early effort to institute unmanned helpers. The only testing I saw was on Beaumont Hill. Evidently it didn't work out. No complaints from the railman community. Here an EB is preparing to leave at Pepper St.
