| The D03 local has 12 cars for the Decatur and Eastern. Here they make the back and forth moves needed to get over to the south side at WABIC. In the foreground the the 1901 built Wabash Railroad Station and Railway Express Agency. The depot was used til 1980s, and it has since been listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is the only remaining historic railroad station in Decatur. In the peak the Wabash had 72 passenger trains come thru town in 1907. |
