Mini CMV. NJ Transit catenary maintenance vehicle 5420 is seen outside the Newark Light Rail facility at Grove St. The main feature of the diminutive vehicle is a scissor lift for accessing overhead catenary wires. The pantograph - which looks comically large on this vehicle - would be used for testing and to ensure the de-energized catenary is grounded while work is ongoing.
