| Sometimes it is wise to be careful and have a backup plan when introducing new rolling stock into revenue service. VIA uses one of its new Siemens train sets once a week on the pair 33/26, but only on the Montreal - Ottawa portion, so that the conventional equipment from Quebec can continue the service to Ottawa in case of a mishap with the new train. And exactle that must have happened on this day in late November, as it made it to Central Station but then failed to continue from there. |
