Pennsy Pathway.
Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) PA-5 no. 5783 is the lead motor on a Newark-WTC train seen cutting through the Journal Square neighborhood of Jersey City. The four tracks through here are more than sufficient for PATH service, and once we're the Pennsylvania Railroad mainline to Exchange Place terminal; nowadays the extra tracks are used for off-peak layups and to access the maintenance yards.
Two rapid transit lines, PATCO and PATH, take commuters to Philadelphia and New York, respectively. Metro North locomotives and rolling stock often show up on NJ Transit northern lines and SEPTA terminates routes in Trenton and West Trenton.
