The new ancestor railcar (Ahnenzug) "Allegra" ABe 8/12 # 3514 of the Rhaetian Railway pulls the IR 1145 of the line IR38 from Chur over the Albula line to St.Moritz, between Chur and Felsberg. This is a replacement train for an ALVRA composition, with standard cars of type II, a baggage car DS and the cab car Bt # 52802 in the rear. The ancestor train commemorates the two previously independent railroads, the Bernina Railway and the Chur-Arosa Railway, which merged with the RhB during the Second World War.
