| The Afterparty.
New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R42 car no. 4791 (St. Louis Car Co., 1969-1970) is seen leading a refuse train down the IND Culver Line back to Coney Island Yard, approaching Avenue U Station. This first pair were the lead two cars on the farewell run for the R42 cars. Life after the party is a bit less glamorous for them... |
