A trio of SD40-2s, plus an SD45, grind upgrade to get a Union Pacific freight out of San Bernardino and over Cajon Pass. One-month-old UP SD40-2 3730 leads this train as it passes through Verdemont. (San Bernardino, California – March 15, 1980)
