Iron, Steel, and Coal | On an overcast Sunday, March 24, 2024 morning, a southbound Union Pacific train of coal loads crosses the Neosho River at Fort Gibson, OK. The former Missouri Pacific rail bridge parallels the old highway bridge which is now open to pedestrians and bicycles only. Both spans were constructed in the mid-1920s.
