| 52152 Materan Aman Lodge shuttle starts its short journey of around 2.2 kms behind NDM1 405. The shuttle service is operated in push pull mode (another loco NDM1 at the rear end) to avoid the loco revesal and the time. Matheran being a no automobile zone commuters use these shuttle services to reach Aman Lodge where there is a provision to park the vehicles. Having said that one can see the heritage steam loco to left, another NDM1 resting in the yard and needless to say anything about the beautiful garden station "Matheran" as a whole. |
