| A somewhat rare event, a pair of SD60's lead the daily Kirk Yard to Waterloo manifest west on the Dubuque Sub. The train had many issues with the ice storm that hit overnight and extra power was brought out of Dubuque to help out this struggling train around Freeport. That is also why the train is about 9 hours late. Here they cross the Wapsipinicon River 23 miles from Waterloo with alot of ice still on the trees. |
