    A walk along a public bike path next to the Seminole Gulf Railroad yard in Fort Myers revealed all that remains of SGRL 501. I don't know if it is going to be rebuilt or if it is being used for parts for sister engine SGRL 502, but it does show the framework involved in the construction of these engines by EMD many years ago.
