With BNSF's takeover of the Montana Rail Link at the beginning of 2024, the MRL SD70ACe's can now be seen roaming all over the BNSF system, either in trail position or serving as a DPU. In this case MRL #4305 is seen serving as one of the DPU Locomotives on BNSF Southbound loaded Coal Train C-NAMPAM6-42W which is bound for the Alabama Power Generating Plant at Palos, AL. The train is seen here passing through Carbon Hill, AL.
