As BNSF Railway train S-LPCLBJ1-19L, an Intermodal Stacks train heading for the Port of Long Beach from Chicago's Logistics Park, passes under the Union Pacific's Yuma Sub in Colton, where the two lines used to cross at grade (via four 90o "diamonds"), the train is also passing a derailed UP yard job that, apparently, had brake issues and hit the derail at the end of the lead while handling a cut of cars at nearby West Colton Yard, knocking SD40-2s UP 1650-UPY 3206 over. The BNSF train, however, will not get to its destination today as, due to congestion in the ports, the power (ET44C4 3862, ES44AC 6013 and Dash 9-44CW 1025 on the headend, and ES44AC 6339 and ES44C4 6879 on the rear) will set out their train at Esperanza (Yorba Linda) and then will run light to the harbor to be placed on eastbound train Q-LHALPC1-04K, to head back to Chicago. After another day or two, other power will pick up this train and complete the journey – fairly normal for westbounds heading to the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
