Remarks & Notes

Constructed in 1976 by the Daniels Company, the Sprouse Creek loadout is seen with a former Southern EMD GP30 in the foreground after undergoing scrapping. This engine has been landlocked here for years. With some luck, a few friends and I were in the area and caught what is left of the scrapping process of this former Southern Railway “High Hood” GP30.
