| The Trona Railway brings a coal train north in the desolate Searles Valley. Every railfan has likely experienced waiting for the train, which is taking longer than you expected, and watching your light vanish. The whole valley had been lit up earlier. By the time the train I arrived there was just this very tiny window that the train's nose is in. |
