| Ge 4/4 # 8001 of the Montreux Oberland Bernois (MOB) in the "Testuz" publicity paint scheme pulls the PE 4064 of the line PE90 GOLDEN PASS EXPRESS from Montreux via Gstaad-Zweisimmen-Spiez to Interlaken Ost, between Gruben and Sch?nried, with 2458 meter high Gummfluh (left) and Le Rubli (2285 m). This is a gauge change train for 1 meter and standard gauge. The locomotive is not able to change gauge and will be replaced in Zweisimmen by a Re 465 of the BLS. The Golden Pass Express (GPX) gauge change trains have now been supplemented with a fifth car of type Bs NF (low-floor) # 271 to # 274 (center of train). Between Zweisimmen and Interlaken Ost and vice versa, the interface coach Bsi # 291 to # 293 is added for connection with the BLS locomotive Re 465. |
