Metrolink Coach 282, built by Hyundai-Rotem in 2010-2013, displays its new wrap with a message about being safe around railroads. This car is one of the pieces of railroad equipment (including ATSF 4-8-4 3751, AMTK P42DC 203 [also wearing markings for Operation Lifesaver] and SCAX F125 906) at Los Angeles Union Station on the weekend of September 21 and 22, 2024. After this inaugural display, SCAX 282 will enter service on various Metrolink trains, promoting rail safety all over southern California.
