Bisecting the Oklahoma Panhandle, and paralleling US Highway 54 as it does, is a southbound Union Pacific grain train, powered by UP AC4400CW 5851, AC4400CW 6221 (ex-Southern Pacific 174) and SD70M 4309. This train crossed into Oklahoma from Kansas about 20 miles back, and in another 40 miles it will enter Texas' panhandle for 100 miles before crossing into New Mexico.
