| Track 4 Terminal.
A New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) 42nd Street Shuttle train is seen arriving at its second and last stop - Times Square-42nd Street Station. This view shows the sharply curved Track 4 platform from the passageway to the Track 1 and Track 2 platforms. Times Square station was originally a local station on the first IRT subway line, and the original station and platform remained on Track 4. This view - and the original station seen here - is no longer publicly accessible now that the 42nd Street Shuttle reconstruction project has been completed. |
