| Metropolitan Monsters.
An inbound Réseau express métropolitain (REM) train is seen high above the industrial section of the Pointe-Saint-Charles neighborhood of Montreal as it makes its way towards Gare Centrale. Car 037D12 is the lead unit on the four-car automated train, a Metropolis Saint-Laurent model manufactured by Alstom for the brand new railway. The sculpture in the foreground is River Monster by Junko (2024), an unsanctioned sculpture installation made entirely out of local waste material. |
