| Since change of timetable on december 15th, some Interregio trains between Zürich and Constance and vice versa are operated with a so called "hybrid push-pull train", mixed with doubledeck cars of type IC2000 and single deck standard cars type IV. Passage between the two train sections is not possible due to mismatched wagon crossings. The reason for this is the Disability Discrimination Act. First car, an AD (first class with baggage compartment) can be used autonomously by disabled persons in wheelchairs at most stations. This is not the case with type IV standard coaches. Re 460 # 066 pulls the IR 2118 from Constance via Weinfelden to Zürich, between Winterthur and Winterthur T?ssmühle. |
