| Just Like Old Times.
A New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) J train of R42 cars (St. Louis Car Co., 1969-1970) is seen approaching Myrtle Ave-Broadway Station on the BMT Jamaica Line. In the background, another R42 makes its station stop at Kosciuszko St. These R42s were reactivated from retirement in 2020 to cover for R179 cars that had been pulled from service due to door problems. |
