| STBX 4500 and two other GP40's sit out in the desert left for dead by an owner which went out of business. In a different time these engines were the pride of the fleet on the Idaho Northern & Pacific. At some point I'm sure these engines gave hope and excitement to the railroad down in Plaster City but as you can see that didn't last long. The line from Plaster City to Tijuana is a beautiful one and there are rumors of it being rebuilt. Time will only tell for the line and these engines. |
