| Just before Christmas 2016, OTVR ran a special "Santa Train" over its route. Behind the scenes, Santa rode in a warm pickup to the outskirts of each town and then would hop on to ride the caboose in to the station stop. All the while, the engineer blew the whistle generously to let the kids know Santa is on his way.
For sure a neat way the small railroad connects with the communities they serve. |
