The westbound tri-weekly Rapid City, Pierre & Eastern train that brings traffic from the Union Pacific in Mankato, MN to Aurora, SD is nearly on home rails as it will soon leave CPKC's Tracy Subdivision and enter RCPE's Huron Subdivision. It all used to be Chicago & North Western, then Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern, then Canadian Pacific, before the line west of here was sold off to form the Rapid City, Pierre & Eastern back in 2014.
