Remarks & Notes

An empty grain train for the Iowa Northern races along the Dubuque Sub just west of Independence. The train is 22 miles from the interchange point with the IANR at Waterloo. New soybean plants at Alta, IA, and Shell Rock, IA, on the IANR are keeping CN busy in Iowa. These trains mainly run to the barge terminal at Mound City, IL.
