| The Iowa Northern served the Cedar Falls Utilities until it closed in 2016. Most of that coal came from the IC southern Illinois mines that were interchanged to the Iowa Northern at Waterloo. Due to the change of directions to spot the coal, many different ways of spotting were done over the years. Here the crew splits power as they grab 16 cars of coal bound for CFU. The IANR ran west from Susie to Cedar Falls Jct. over the CCP for 6 miles, then went east up the CFU branch.
