        Remarks & Notes
The Mala Rijeka Viaduct (literally Little river) is a large viaduct on the Belgrade–Bar railway, located some 20 km north of Podgorica, Montenegro. With a length of 498 meter and a hight of 198 meter it is one of the highest railway bridges worldwide. It is a steel truss bridge on concrete pilars and was built from 1969 to 1973 as part of the famous Beograd to Bar mountain railway opened in 1976. Longest span is 150 meter and highest pilar 137 meter. 100'000 tons of steel were used for this impressive single track viaduct.
