| South Brooklyn Street Subway.
Smoke clouds up under the Gowanus Expressway overpass as New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R52 locomotive no. 81 (GE, 1977) leads a "power pack" across 3rd Avenue. The consist, which also included R161 rider car RD404 and R47 locomotive no. 64, were headed to the South Brooklyn Marine Terminal to accept delivery of a 5-car R211A trainset. |
