| DL train 3000 on leaving Scranton with 40 loads. The lead loco was built by Montreal Locomotive Works in 1970 as PGE 706 then BC Rail 706. The large buliding in the background was Delaware Lackawanna and Western's passenger depot. It's now the Radisson Station Hotel. The old signal bridge is a remnant of a much busier time on this stretch of track. |
