| Cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 3/3 # 1068 of the Brünig Dampfbahn (BDB) pulled train 2249 from Interlaken Ost via Zweilütschinen to Grindelwald over the tracks of the Berner Oberland Bahn (BOB). The train is now back in Schwendi bei Grindelwald and the locomotive will go around the cars, which is not possible in Grindelwald. The 0-6-0 T was built in 1926 by SLM Winterthur for the 1 meter gauge Brünig line of the SBB. Withdrawn in 1965 and exhibited in Meiringen between 1966 and 2000. Operational again since 2022. |
