With trackwork on Amtrak between PERRY and RIVER, Norfolk Southern has been utilizing newly acquired trackage rights over CSX between Philadelphia and Baltimore to run their CONSOL trains. To this date, only empty trains have run the Philly Sub, under the cover of darkness. Today, the first loaded train traverseded the Philly Sub in daylight. With an NS crew train 590 is operating as Z461-20 over CSX rails.
