| East Bay Broad Gauge.
Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) D-class car 3157 is the lead unit on a Yellow Line train to SFO Airport, seen arriving at Rockridge Station. Unlike most other rapid transit in the country, which largely use standard gauge for their tracks, the BART system uses 5'-6" broad gauge for their tracks - except on the standard gauge eBART extension of the Yellow Line. |
