Remarks & Notes

BNSF 505 E/B Intermodal near the top of Abo Canyon on December 27, 1997, with an EMD BN unit and EMD ATSF unit. This was an extremely cold morning dropping to -14 in nearby Mountainair, NM earlier. This unit was repaired, renumbered and repainted from ATSF 505 to BNSF 505 after a wreck at Hoxie, Arkansas.
