    Remarks & Notes
With Quartzite Mountain as a backdrop, Mojave Northern SE32C diesel 419 brings a nineteen-car string of 3-bay hopper cars (built by Freight Car America) from the Black Mountain Quarry to the plant in Victorville. The train’s destination is within a couple of miles here in northern Victorville.

MN 419 was built by Knoxville Locomotive Works from an EMD SD40-2 last owned by ex-Yadkin Valley Railroad (as TVRR 6005), previously Union Pacific 7886, originally UP 3414. KLW rebuilt it to Tier IV locomotive standards. (Victorville, California – August 19, 2025)
