| Guntakal WDM2 #17624 hauled 11040 Gondia Kolhapur Maharashtra Express at scenic Adarki station on Pune Miraj line. This is more than a decade back when the section use to be single line unlectrified. Now these locos are derated for inferior duties and section is completely doubled and electrified. The train is now upgraded to LHB coach and hauled by Electric loco end to end. This train covers maximum distance within the state of Maharashtra hence the name Maharashtra Express. |
