| Double Diesels on the Lake Shore.
Amtrak P32AC-DM no. 706 and P42DC no. 96 are teamed up leading Lake Shore Limited train 48 through Peekskill, en-route to New York City. Due to the closure of Line 2 of the East River Tunnel restricting access to Sunnyside Yard, Amtrak trains on the Empire Corridor have been operating with multiple locomotives allowing them to change ends in Penn Station or run around their consist to return north. |
