Santa Fe Railway's train 891, the Super C, heads eastward to Chicago as it crests Cajon Pass' Summit as it departs southern California on a snowy December 30, 1974. A quartet of SD45-2s, led by 5690, provides 14,400 horsepower for this hot six-car train.
