Near W end of ¼+mi. long 0°56' curve #C-216 on then-MRL 2nd subdivision near M/p 216.6, "Winston" is near M/p 218.25. SD-45 #355 orig.BN #6558 (blt. Dec., 1971 EMD#5794-16) retired Dec., 1986 to AzCon & NHL Mar., 1987 leased-to MRL July, 1988 (same #) and acquired 31-Oct-1989 (re-painted and given current # after that). It was then leased-to the former I&MRL/IC&E (in 2002) for ten years beginning-in May, 1997 before returning-to MRL c.mid-2007. GP-9 #109 orig.NP #210 (blt.Feb., 1955 EMD #20342) to BN #1710 in Mar., 1970 and retired/acquired w/MRL start-up on 30-Oct-1987. Repainted-to MRL w/current # on 04-Nov-1988, and "chop-nosed" w/26-L air brake controls installed @ Missoula c.1993. This is w/in 45 m. N-of (downstream from) the Missouri R.'s headwaters w/S (upper) end of Canyon Ferry Reservoir in upper-Lt. background.
