With the sun just starting to peak over the horizon, IC 2699 leads eastbound stack train Q120, as they pass the turbines on the approach to Amherst, Nova Scotia.
After a short meet with CN L537 at the west end of Amherst, VIA 14, The Ocean, accelerates through town, past the former mandatory station stop, which is now just a flag stop.
