After meeting one at Norcross, coal empties from northern Minnesota cruise into Donnelly on a brisk Thanksgiving morning. The air temperature was -13, but luckily there was no wind.
An empty unit tank train sweeps through a big curve west of Donnelly behind some visiting power. I think this is the first time that I've caught a solid Union Pacific consist on the Morris Sub.
It's all BNSF orange on a sweeping curve between Herman and Donnelly. I'm on a bit of a telegraph pole kick lately I guess, so I'm happy they were still standing out here.
